DESCRIPTION:The Prince George’s County Section of the National Council of Negro Women is hosting a mental health symposium that is FREE and open to the public. The goal of this event is to promote awareness\, share tools to cope\, and help decrease the stigma associated with experiencing and seeking help with mental health conditions. \nTHEME: How Do You Really Feel? \nThis symposium will feature: \n\nDynamic speaker panel of local mental health professionals\nInteractive audience activities – Mental Health First Aid\nPresentations on health topics\nGood Health WINs initiative presentation\nExhibits from local organizations\nFREE swag bag and refreshments for attendees (while supplies last)\n\nDoors open at 11am. Visit the exhibit booths and network. Program starts at 11:30am. A healthy mind is uplifting. Come out with the community and join the fun! \nPlease register in advance to reserve your seat.
