DESCRIPTION:Join the National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF)\, in partnership with the Alliance for Gout Awareness (AGA) for a discussion on the newly released Gout Index. Gout is a painful and debilitating chronic disease that affects more than 9 million people in the United States. However\, social stigma and health disparities around the disease persists\, affecting patient access to timely and effective treatment. \nNMQF and AGA will host a panel discussion to share key observations yielded from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) claims data\, which was used to create the Gout Index.
