In today’s time and our current climate, adults and children, alike, are faced with multiple hard realities such as systemic racism, policing, health inequities, complex trauma, and a myriad of other struggles. Broaching these topics effectively often feels difficult, if not impossible. This series will equip our youth, families, community members and other key support systems with the tools and knowledge of how to have hard yet crucial conversations and develop the tools and techniques to effectively address critical issues in the Black community. Trained professionals will present information and teach needed skills from a place of health, wholeness, and strategy to help participants put into action the change they want to see in their communities and homes.
