LOS ANGELES, CA – The Honorable Lindsey Horvath’s campaign continues to gain influential supporters, this week snagging the endorsement of the Los Angeles African American Women Political Action Committee (LAAAWPAC). The Committee endorses candidates who have demonstrated their commitment to advancing a political agenda that supports economic, social and political equity for the African American community, and women in particular.

She has a strong track record of working collaboratively to address tough issues at the local level, and has championed Black women throughout her career. Her commitment to delivering bold and innovative solutions make her the best candidate for the role, and we are confident that she will continue to uplift the Black community as Supervisor,” said Ingrid Palmer, LAAAWPAC President.

Founded in 1991, the Los Angeles African American Women Political Action Committee is the first African American women’s political action committee formed in the state of California. As a political action committee, LAAAWPAC supports progressive pro-choice, pro-LGBT, and pro-progressive issue candidates–both women and men who are committed to the causes important to Black women. They also conduct important community outreach, including voter education, and volunteering.
