DURHAM, N.C. (PRWEB) May 26, 2022

The Law Offices of James Scott Farrin is proud to sponsor Perla Moreno-Gil for a Hispanic League scholarship as she pursues a degree in social work at North Carolina A&T State University.

Hispanic League, founded in 1992, fosters diversity and raises awareness by serving as a liaison between non-Hispanic and Hispanic communities. Scholarships are awarded to outstanding Hispanic students to assist with their continuing education and were presented at the Hispanic League’s 23rd Annual Spanish Nite Virtual Gala.

“We are proud to sponsor Perla and help her get a head start in her career in the important field of social work,” said attorney James S. Farrin, President and CEO of the firm. “The firm supports programs like the Hispanic League because we consider it our civic duty to ensure promising young people like Perla have all the advantages they need to succeed.”

Perla said she wants to become a behavior psychologist who helps children, and this scholarship will help her pursue her dream. She is dedicated to helping others, and this career path fits in with that goal.

“I believe that being a good leader is about being selfless,” Perla said. “Everything you do has to be thought out in consideration of your subordinates because they are always looking up to you. There should be dedication, responsibility, and accountability. Every move you make will affect those who come after you. I want to continue to be that leader in helping others, and this scholarship will allow me to do so.”
