Married At First Sight star Haley Vernon has lashed out at critics after being accused of ‘racism’ over an eyebrow-raising TikTok video she posted earlier this week.

The OnlyFans star, 34, sparked controversy on Wednesday by uploading a video of herself miming along to a rap song that included the N-word.

The now-deleted video attracted backlash, with some calling Hayley’s actions ‘offensive’.

Addressing the controversy in a follow-up video on Thursday, a defiant Hayley said she never meant to offend anyone and had ‘learned from her mistake’.

‘F**k, that’s all I can say. I f**ked up yesterday. You’ve f**ked up? Have I f**ked up? we’ve all f**ked up,’ she said to the camera while sitting in her car.

‘What I think is the funniest is people that don’t know me are like, “Sis, are you going to apologise for what you did?” F**king oath I am! You know why? Because I’m not backwards at coming forwards. I admit when I f**k up,’ she declared.

Hayley acknowledged her actions were careless, saying: ‘Am I sorry for putting it on social media not realising the kind of impact it can have against a group of people? Yes.’

Despite her remorse, Hayley deflected the blame from herself by saying musicians should be ‘held accountable’ for normalising offensive language through their songs.

‘I think there’s a broader issue at play here, that the people that are bringing out these songs need to be held accountable,’ she said.

‘I will hold myself individually accountable, but if we’re going to do [ban] that word, we need to do a whole f**king list of words.’

Mixed response: Hayley's apology video received a mixed response from fans. Some said she didn't do a good enough job at apologising, while others offered their support

Hayley also grumbled about ‘the way people just honed in’ and ‘attacked’ her for an innocent mistake.

‘Let’s get real… If I was attacking a person, if I was directing it at a them [it would be offensive], [but] I was singing a song, miming a song,’ she said.

‘I get the issue that you have [about] it. I f**ked up. You know what? It’s not going to happen again. You’ve brought it to my attention.’

‘Don’t jump down my f**king throat’, she later ranted, adding: ‘I am sorry, but the way in which people went about [criticising me] was completely f**king wrong.’
