People often go through life in the pursuit of peace, but after much effort, may decide that this goal is unattainable. Many experience lows that they’ve never seen before and wonder if they will come out of them. To dispel the myth that peace cannot be achieved, Nicole B. Dr. Nicole B. Washington is a board-certified psychiatrist and author. Dr. Nicole has spent most of her career caring for and being an advocate for those who are not typically consumers of mental health services, namely underserved communities, those with severe mental illness, and high-performing professionals. Through her private practice, podcast, speaking, and writing, she seeks to provide education in efforts to decrease the stigma associated with psychiatric illness.
