“ACOG wholeheartedly thanks President Biden for recognizing the need for advancements in the field of women’s health research. ACOG and our members have long advocated for policies that would explore how women respond to certain treatments, how vaccines and medicines affect pregnancies, and which health conditions uniquely affect women. Today’s executive order will result in a significant step forward in this critical work.
“As a membership organization that represents clinical experts devoted to the delivery of evidence-based care to women, ACOG looks forward to supporting and advising First Lady Jill Biden and Carolyn Mazure as they outline the initiative to ensure that it is strategic and has the maximum positive impact on women’s lives.”
