President Trump Receives COVID-19 Booster and Flu Shot Ahead of International Trip, According to Health Report
Trump Gets Covid Booster Vaccine

By FYH Staff ยท Oct 12, 2025

President Donald J. Trump successfully completed a scheduled follow-up evaluation at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday, according to details shared by the physician to the president with White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. The visit, which included a range of preventive health assessments, also saw the president receive an updated COVID-19 booster vaccinationโ€”a detail that immediately sparked widespread public debate.

The comprehensive evaluation was described as part of President Trumpโ€™s ongoing health maintenance plan. It involved advanced imaging, laboratory testing, and preventive health assessments performed by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, coordinating with leading academic and medical consultants to ensure continued wellness and optimal cardiovascular health.

Health Report Highlights โ€˜Excellent Overall Healthโ€™
The note released detailing the checkup confirmed that President Trump continues to demonstrate excellent overall health. The memorandum stated that comprehensive laboratory studies performed during the visit were โ€œexceptional,โ€ showing stable metabolic, hematologic, and cardiac parameters.

A particularly striking detail in the physicianโ€™s note relates to cardiovascular vitality: President Trumpโ€™s cardiac age, a validated measure assessed via ECG, was found to be approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age. Despite maintaining a demanding daily schedule, the president continues to operate without restriction.

Vaccination Decision Sparks Immediate Backlash
During the course of the preventive health screenings and immunizations, President Trump received both his annual influenza shot and the updated COVID-19 booster vaccination, the memorandum confirmed.

This decision to receive the COVID-19 shot quickly drew criticism and controversy online. Many social media users on X (formerly Twitter) questioned the move, with one person suggesting the president was taking the booster after having previously been accused of โ€œbrainwashing millions of Americans into fearing vaccines.โ€ Another user asked pointedly if the presidentโ€™s supporters were aware he might not consider the COVID vaccine โ€œpoison.โ€

However, the opposition was not limited to critics of the president. Concerns were also raised by some of his supporters, one of whom exclaimed on X: โ€œI DO NOT WANT PRESIDENT TRUMP TAKING THE COVID JAB! The nation NEEDS him,โ€ expressing apprehension precisely because the president took the vaccine.

The timing of this vaccination also comes amid evolving policy regarding the vaccine. This month, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) approved recommendations that included dropping the broad recommendation for Americans above the age of 65 to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. Axios reported that this new policy showed an โ€œofficial lack of confidence in the safety and efficacy of the vaccines.โ€
