Black Family Cancer Awareness Week
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration is purposefully using the week of June 16-22 as a way to help increase cancer awareness in one of the most vulnerable segments of the U.S. population. The goal is to marshal community-based stakeholders to build knowledge surrounding cancer clinical trial participation and minority population specimen donations to national genetic databases for cancer research. To participate on social media, use #BlackFamCan.
