Haxtun Health Fair

June 4 @ 7:00 am - 12:00 pm

$70 – $160

Participants can register in person the day of the fair, but pre-registration online at HaxtunHealth.org is recommended. Participants may choose which health screenings they want at time of registration. Results are then mailed to participants the following week. Participants can take their results to their preferred provider for questions and review.

Health Screen Packages:

This year, Haxtun Health is offering FOUR affordable packages for participants to choose from.

Baseline Health Package $70:  This package includes a Blood Chemistry panel, CBC, and an A1C.

Essential Health Package $120:  This package includes a Blood Chemistry panel, CBC, A1C and Vitamin D.

Essential Plus for Men: $160:  This package includes a Blood Chemistry panel, CBC, A1C and Vitamin D, and a PSA.

Essential Plus for Women: $160:  This package includes a Blood Chemistry panel, CBC, A1C and Vitamin D, and a TSH.

About the Available Tests

  • Blood Chemistry:  This screening gauges blood glucose, cholesterol, liver, thyroid, and more. It can help you and your healthcare provider monitor and identify health issues such as diabetes and heart disease.
  • Complete Blood Count:  This screening is used to evaluate your overall health and detect many disorders, including anemia, infection, and leukemia.
  • A1C: This screening measures your average blood sugar control for the past 2 to 3 months, and screens for Type 2 diabetes/prediabetes or used to follow existing
    diabetes treatment.
  • Vitamin D: Provides baseline Vitamin D levels, which is important to bone health and affects other vital body functions.
  • Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA): A popular screening with men, this measures a protein produced by the prostate gland. This screening may be recommended
for individuals age 69 or younger, or those with a family history of prostate cancer.
  • Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH): A popular screening with women, this test is a screen for overall thyroid function.

To best prepare for a blood draw, Haxtun Health recommends to not eat or drink anything, except water after midnight the night prior to lab work.  Drink plenty of water and continue to take prescription medications. People with diabetes should not fast. Check with your health care provider for specific recommendations.
