Every April, National Minority Health Month shines a spotlight on the urgent need to improve the health and wellness of racial and ethnic minority communities across the country. It’s a time to raise awareness about the disparities that continue to affect underserved populations — and more importantly, a time to promote actionable solutions.
The National Minority Quality Forum (NMQF) has long been at the forefront of these efforts, working tirelessly to bridge gaps in healthcare access, education, and outcomes. Through research, policy advocacy, community engagement, and data-driven initiatives, NMQF drives systemic change that moves the nation closer to achieving health equity.
For National Minority Health Month 2025, NMQF has announced the theme:
“Health Unlocked: Access, Alignment, Action.”
This theme calls on all stakeholders — healthcare providers, policymakers, advocates, and communities — to unlock barriers to care, align healthcare systems with real human needs, and take bold action to protect vulnerable populations.
NMQF’s ongoing commitment during this month and beyond is clear: turning data into action to create lasting change and ensuring that no community is left behind in the pursuit of better health.
Stay tuned for more updates, events, and resources throughout National Minority Health Month — and join NMQF in unlocking a healthier future for all.
