2022 Billboard Music Awards Red carpet. The 2022 Billboard Music Awards were last weekend and music celebrities walked the red carpet at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Major stars wore their best looks for the ceremony held on Sunday, May 15.

The most anticipated part for fans is the famous red carpet, where celebrities showcase their luxurious fashions. Fans will be able to enjoy the best looks of the artists and presenters at tonight’s awards show, according to El universal.

There is a huge list of nominees for the Billboard Awards, among which some Latinos stand out: Rauw Alejandro, Jack Harlow, Bryson Tiller, Florence + the Machine, Elle King and Miranda Lambert, Megan Thee Stallion, Machine Gun Kelly, Latto, Burna Boy, Becky G, Ed Sheeran, Dan + Shay, Travis Scott, and Morgan Wallen, among others.

One of the favorite artists to win the most awards at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards is singer Dua Lipa. She has stood out, not only for her beauty, but also for her incredible voice. However, she is competing with major talent like The Weeknd, Doja Cat, Justin Bieber, Kanye West, Olivia Rodrigo, Ed Sheeran and BTS.

The couple of the year was present on the red carpet at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, outstanding actress Meghan Fox with her boyfriend, rapper Machine Gun Kelly. Both arrived in gothic looks and the actress was wearing a plunging black dress that amazed her fans.

Other artists taking the stage included Scott, who is nominated in the dance/electronic music category, as well as Miranda Lambert, Meghan Thee Stallion, Morgan Wallen and Grammy winners Silk Sonic, according to El Universal agency.

Sean “Diddy” Combs was the master of ceremonies for the show, which was broadcast live from the Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas starting at 8 p.m. on NBC and its streaming service Peacock. Becky G, who released her album Esquemas on Friday, will perform “Mamiii”, her hit with Karol G that topped Billboard’s Hot Latin Songs chart.

This year, The Weeknd is the main finalist for the Billboard for the second consecutive year, with 17 mentions, followed by Doja Cat, who obtained 14. In the Latin music sections, Bad Bunny leads as a finalist in 3 categories, followed by Farruko, Kali Uchis, Karol G and Rauw Alejandro, with 2 mentions each. Also competing, among others, were Rosalía, Caliber 50, Eslabón Armado and Grupo Firme.

Finalists are determined by rankings on the Billboard charts. Winners are selected based on several criteria, including album and digital song sales, performance on streaming platforms and radio airplay, and touring.
