The family physician winners for 2022 are
- Chelsea Mooreland, M.D., the founder and CEO of Life Cycle Direct Primary Care, a full-spectrum, membership-based, family-centered primary care practice based in New Albany, Ohio; and
- Kevin U. Stephens Jr., M.D., M.B.A., senior medical director for the Louisiana and Mississippi markets with Oak Street Health, a nationwide network of senior primary care centers and health clinics.
This theme of this year’s summit was “Mind Over Matter: Exploring Our Health in the Time of the Pandemic.” The event featured more than a dozen panels and plenary sessions covering topics such as youth mental health, vaccinations for COVID-19 and influenza, obesity in communities of color, and addressing health equity in medically underserved areas.
